Durasol shading systems will filter out most of the sun's harmful effects while maintaining your view. Our specially designed fabrics allow you to see outside more clearly and permit filtered light to enter the room—without annoying glare. You can select a fabric that will enhance a room's lighting décor while adding a level of privacy from the outdoors during daylight hours. Your Durasol shading system can be operated by hand, with the touch-of-a-button, or can be controlled automatically with sun and wind sensors. Choose from among three Durasol DuraShade exterior shade models: the Elite-E and Select-E models are Energy Saving Exterior Solar Screens; the Classic-E is the Heavy Duty model, when there is a need for a very wide solar screen.

Easy to Operate and Fully Retractable
Many of Durasol's solar screens can be motorized, allowing you to operate the system with the touch-of-a-button. If optioned, they may be controlled automatically and could even be incorporated into your lighting system during construction. With a motorized solar shading system, you will have complete control over the sun and the ability to extend, retract and stop the unit at any desired position. When unfiltered sun is desired, your Durasol solar screen can be completely retracted into its self-storing housing, also providing protection for your screen from severe weather. Specialized Fabric Selection
Durasol incorporates only the finest fabrics from around the world to produce long-lasting, problem-free shading systems for your home. Each unit we produce starts with fabric selection. We offer a wide array of colors and screen densities, allowing you to maintain your exterior view, while effectively blocking out the sun's damaging rays. Fabric widths of up to 98 feet allow most windows to be seamless, or appear to be, by placing the seam by a mullion.
